Website for a Defence-Tech Robotics Company: DevDroid Case Study
In short

Hotburo case study: website for DevDroid, maker of unmanned ground vehicles and Droid Box — information architecture, engineering look, component library.

DevDroid is a Ukrainian defence-tech company developing unmanned ground vehicles, combat modules and the Droid Box control system.

  • Client: DevDroid, a defence-tech company
  • What we did: digital identity development, information architecture, design of all key pages, a component library
  • Development: our partners at Simplify

A visual system with engineering-interface aesthetics

The company already had a logo, palette and a basic brand book. We developed the identity for digital: typography, icon style, image principles, UI components and page rules. A coordinate grid, technical lines, large information blocks and strict typography convey precision and technology, while black-and-yellow contrast became the key tool of hierarchy.

We also defined how photos and graphics work, so company, catalogue, product, training and news pages read as one ecosystem.

Site structure

The site had to combine the company presentation, product pages, a catalogue, a dedicated Droid Box presentation, support, training, news and media coverage. We designed the information architecture, all key pages and a component library for one consistent approach regardless of content type. We prepared the designs for hand-off; our partners at Simplify built and launched the site.

The result

DevDroid got a modern website uniting every area of the company in one digital system. A clear structure, consistent visual language and a scalable component base let the site grow with the product line.
