Pryntsyp («Principle») is a non-profit founded in 2023 to protect the legal rights of service members, especially those wounded in combat. Its goal is to change the system wounded soldiers end up in, so they feel respected by the state. To do that, the organisation decided to build a web platform and mobile app with broad functionality for service members and veterans.

What Pryntsyp does
- legal education for service members and their families about the mechanisms and options during treatment and rehabilitation;
- analysis to develop systemic solutions for reforming the wounded soldier’s path;
- advocacy for change together with state authorities.
Collaboration with FEDORIV
Fedoriv Agency created the identity: a military palette, minimalist elements, typefaces and the overall visual vision. Our job was to bring it to life in the product: build a clear structure and logic for the platform and app and find simple solutions for its many functions.
Concept
The priority was an interface a wounded soldier can easily use to get advice and help. We removed everything unnecessary: neutral white and grey give a calm background, blue and green highlight key functions, and varied type sizes and concise icons build the hierarchy. The interface is equally convenient on desktop, tablet and phone.

Document library
Laws, resolutions, instructions and other regulations on service members’ rights and duties. Documents are grouped into categories and subcategories and can be downloaded instantly as PDF or DOCX.
Sections for different audiences
- Active service members — rights and duties during service.
- Wounded service members — medical care, rehabilitation, social support.
- Veterans — benefits and rehabilitation programmes.
- Military families — advice and legal documents.
Answers database
Questions are grouped by topic — legal status, getting help, social benefits. The database is updated regularly based on new requests and changes in legislation, and search helps find answers fast.
The result
The platform and app give service members and their families quick access to essential legal information, and soon after launch they started doing their job.
