Hotburo case study: corporate website for a software development company — a black-and-white system with space aesthetics and modular blocks.
The client is a software development company working in web and mobile development, data, QA and other tech areas. We created a large corporate website bringing together very different content — services, industries, case studies, company information, careers and a blog — while keeping it easy to take in.
- Client: a software development company
- What we did: corporate website design, a system of blocks and components
- Sections: services, industries, case studies, company, careers, blog

Visual direction: not like every IT company
We wanted to move away from the usual IT website look, so we used a contrasting black-and-white system with light space aesthetics. Pages are built from large blocks: alternating black and white sections set the rhythm, while graphics and large headings break up big volumes of information. Space motifs live mostly in the graphics — they add mood without becoming the main theme.

A modular system for a big website
The main task was a system able to hold many pages and very different content. So we designed not individual screens but a set of blocks and components to assemble new pages consistently.
At the same time every section has freedom to fit its content: case studies look different from service pages, and the blog and careers don’t copy the main pages.
The result
A coherent system that lets the company talk about different sides of its business without overloading users visually or structurally.
FAQ
How do you keep a large corporate website clear?
Design a modular block system and give each section its own logic for its content, instead of one template page for everything.
How can an IT company stand out visually?
Skip the typical gradients and stock imagery in favour of a strong system — here, a contrasting black-and-white base with light space graphics.
